Today the Sante Clinical Research team would like to shed light on the different phases of clinical trials. We understand the whole phrase "clinical research" may be scary to people who are new to the medical research world. Our job here isn't revolving strictly around running clinical trials, but also educating those who may know very little about what goes on in the process of clinical trials. Today We would like to mention phases of a clinical trial . Defined by moffitt.org (2017) as "Testing of a new drug or treatment is done in an orderly series of steps called phases. This allows researchers to obtain reliable information about the drug or treatment in order to protect patients in each phase of the study".
